Tim grew up in Southern California and went to undergrad at the University of Michigan, where he studied biology and competed on the varsity swim team. After graduating in 2020, he spent several years working in healthcare finance, across NYC and San Francisco. He was a member of the Cham lab from 2024 – 2025 and led the PROOF and EMPOWER research studies at UCSF. His favorite part of being a clinical research coordinator was developing long-term relationships with patients and working alongside the incredible gyn-onc team at UCSF. He started medical school at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in the summer of 2025 and is looking forward to exploring different surgical specialties for his future career.
